APT-2600FD
The APT-2600FD series is a high-performance ICT flying probe test system with moveable arms from top and bottom side. It offers precise contact on extremely small areas on miniaturized printed circuit boards and enables testing in a short amount of time. With an advanced measurement system and a wide range of test functions, it significantly improves test coverage and helps detect a variety of defects and perform failure analysis that was previously difficult to identify. Various models are available for large PCBs and automated testing.
Intended for: the most demanding production with a great possibility of options.

- Remote-access camera – options for monitoring board insertion and recording footage in the event of a collision
- Industrial design – option to switch monitor positions
- LED check – LED parameter verification
- Temperature sensor – temperature-compensated measurements
- Automatic probe cleaning – maximum probe utilization
- IC open calibration
- Custom software for program creation
- 3D map generation for better orientation during testing
FAQ
Who is flying probe technology intended for?
- Flying probe testing is designed for flexible PCB testing without the need to manufacture a fixture for a specific model. It is the ideal choice for high-mix, low-volume production, prototyping, and even larger production batches without pressure on ICT test time.
How do I program a Takaya flying probe?
- To generate a program, you need CAD (ODB++) data and a BOM (Bill of Materials) list of components. Using Takaya’s Fasttrack software, you generate the program’s basis, which is then fine-tuned on the machine. AI modules built into Fasttrack now assist with the program preparation.
What sets the Takaya flying probe tester apart from other machines?
- Takaya is characterized by extreme precision and reliability in both electrical and mechanical parameters. The machines are designed for continuous operation with minimal downtime.
- The APT-2600FD is the newer and faster successor to the previous APT 1400F series.
